Amethyst is a gemstone that has long been associated with balance, especially emotional balance. We get the word "Amethyst" from Greek. "Methystos" is a Greek word for storm. "Amethystos" literally means "remove the storm", but can also be interpreted as "remove the toxication". Since ancient times this gemstone has been used to help balance, calm and purify.

These are made with high quality hypoallergenic jewelry brass. Hypoallergenic and tarnish resistant and thin and lightweight for daily use. They hang approximately one inch below the ear lobe.
They measure 1.75" wide and 2" long including the hook closure.
